I wanted a fabric front cover for this journal so that way it can swell with more page insertion. This journal is semi decorated with pockets and characters to match a nautical theme.

The journal also comes with pages that I dyed with my own inking. All of my inks are infused with some type of natural acid (vinegar, lime or lemon and alcohol), to act as an activator to allow gesso and dry glue to respond well with each other. In some cases, there are additional steps to my inking processes and the coffee stained papers is simple, very biodegradable and can be composed in natural soil.

The blue pages are suggested to compose with fertilization consisting of cow manures because the acid that I used requires the right mixture of composite to yield healthier soil. You don’t want to use it in soil that is ready to be repotted.

There are two processes in composing this paper which can be discussed upon exchange. Well, there is a third method and that can be use in certain fire meditations.
